The Professional and Regulatory Support Helpdesk (the Helpdesk) is a free and confidential support service for members of the IFoA.
The Helpdesk is available to all IFoA members across the globe and provides a confidential space to ask questions on the application of professional and technical standards. By submitting a query to the Helpdesk, members benefit from a tailored response to their query incorporating the views of our experienced panel members.
Members are invited to submit questions on the application of the following professional and technical standards:
- Actuaries’ Code
- Actuarial Profession Standards (APSs) and Guidance Notes (GNs)
- Technical Actuarial Standards (TASs) issued by the FRC*
The Helpdesk also welcomes enquiries relating to ethical dilemmas which members may encounter in the course of their actuarial work.
*As the TASs are set by the FRC, the Helpdesk offers the views of experienced practitioners on these standards. The Helpdesk does not represent the views of the FRC.
