The IFoA has responded to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) consultations on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I).
We are pleased to have responded to the consultations, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in the financial sector – working together to drive change (FCA) and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in PRA regulated firms (PRA).
We respond to consultations where our actuarial expertise can inform debate, especially when the proposals will directly impact on our members’ working lives and there are strong public interest issues involved.
As a professional body with a considerable number of our members working in the financial services sector, we have a strong interest in helping to promote and encourage greater representational diversity and diversity of thought.
Our consultation responses focused on the IFoA’s approach to Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to help support the profession; including our DEI Strategy, the work of our Diversity Action Group, our DEI focussed engagement with employers, schools and universities, our thought leadership and encouraging best practice.
