The next IFoA Middle East Conference is in Riyadh from Saturday 3 May through Monday 5 May 2025.
The goal is to produce an innovative actuarial conference for our members, non-members, industry specialists and stakeholders based across the Middle East region. The committee will shape and drive the content of the conference.
We are seeking proactive and innovative volunteers, to work in partnership with the IFoA executives to source content and encourage sponsorship of the conference.
Candidates will be currently working in Middle East, or have recent substantial experience working in the region. We expect volunteers to have an excellent awareness of relevant trending topics or topics of interest, particularly in the prominent content areas of interest and relevance for the geographical location of the conference.

The meetings of the content committee will be via conference calls. The first meeting will be held in November 2024. It will be attended by representatives of the IFoA Middle East and Africa executive and a member of the IFoA Middle East Strategic Member Committee.
The conference chair and content committee members are expected to attend every meeting and to devote the time equivalent to 2 working days per month, including following up on actions to meet event schedule deadlines.
