Application closing date: 31 July
The Finance & Investment Board is seeking to appoint a Deputy Chair.
This volunteer must be a qualified member of the IFoA (or from a similar relevant professional background) who is keen to build on the excellent foundations already created. They should have a strong desire to help shape and drive forward the Finance and Investment practice area for the future.
Finance and Investment is one of the largest IFoA practice areas, and supports a number of research working parties and sub-committees. The Board is a source of expertise within the profession for all Finance & Investment matters.
For the Deputy Chair role, prior involvement with other Finance and Investment practice groups, such as sub-committees or working parties, would be a definite advantage.
Ideally the successful candidate will have global reach, digital platform, private credit, sustainable investing or banking experience.
Participation in Board meetings can be by videoconference/conference call, to ensure location is not a barrier.
Please note that the expectation is that the Deputy Chair will progress to Chair in 2026.
