The London Market Actuaries’ Group (LMAG) consists of around 1,000 qualified actuaries working in the Lloyd’s and London Market. Membership is open to Fellows of the IFoA (or international equivalent) working within the London Market. Members are involved in the full range of actuarial work within the market.
Monthly meetings have a mix of actuarial and guest speakers. Attendance at talks varies from 150 to 250 approximate in-person, with recordings also made available to members.
Cian Creedon, Chair
Cian is an actuary in Aon’s Specialty Reinsurance broking team. Prior to this, he worked in a variety of roles in broking, primary insurance, reinsurance, and consulting which have afforded him a broad spectrum of experience across pricing, capital modelling, legacy M&A and reserving.
Cian has been volunteering with LMAG since 2018 and is also active in the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. Earlier in his career, Cian also helmed the London Market Students’ Group – which could be thought of as the younger sibling to LMAG.
Although he is aware that people rarely (if ever) read these bios, Cian is always flattered when people buy him whisky – Islay malts, for preference, in this uncertain world.
Natanya Taylor, Treasurer
Natanya leads the Actuarial Function at Bridgehaven Insurance. Prior to this, she worked at a range of insurers and more recently was consulting in a variety of roles covering Pricing and Underwriting, Reserving, Capital and Risk within the London Market and also Personal Lines.
Natanya has been volunteering for some years and regularly chairs industry events. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking for willing participants, long walks, thinking about the gym and spending time with her family.
