Actuaries of Bermuda

About us

Founded in 2023, the Actuaries of Bermuda focuses on growing and uniting our professional community. We aim to bring together actuaries from different areas of practice and varying levels of experience to create a community of learning, networking and professional growth. We are a new, growing, dynamic community focused on four key missions:

• Continuing Education: Enhance your professional skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in actuarial science through our seminars, workshops, and events led by industry experts.
• Networking: Expand your professional network by connecting with like-minded professionals through our networking events and social gatherings.
• Supporting Student Actuaries: We provide resources such as tutoring for students pursuing actuarial studies, guiding them in their journey towards becoming successful actuaries.
• Actuarial Database: We want to have a database of all actuaries on the Island for use in government statistics, and to have as a resource for companies to hire from talent already existing on the Island.

We boast over 150 members, students and qualified actuaries alike, based in Bermuda. Partnering with some of the largest insurance firms and consultancies on the island,

AoB has hosted several student roundtables, educational forums, networking and social events.
