The IFoA Foundation needs your support

Please donate today and ensure more talented and determined young people can benefit from access to actuarial careers regardless of their backgrounds. Your donation will:

• elevate our ability to connect to outstanding young people who need our support and expand the number of promising individuals we can empower and uplift.
• grow sustainability of the fund that provides scholarships, mentoring, networking, financial education, maths challenges, and social mobility initiatives to young people in the UK and around the world
• achieve more for our profession’s diversity, equity, and inclusion aims, enabling us to dismantle barriers to entry into the actuarial profession and build a vibrant community through shared purpose

Thanks to operational support from the IFoA, 100% of your donations go towards encouraging more young people from all backgrounds to get into actuarial science. That includes studying maths, accessing a first-class actuarial education, and connecting into the profession.

Make an impact

Donations of £1,000 or more make a significant impact on the lives and career trajectories of talented young people from diverse backgrounds. Give to a specific fund

If your donation is for a specific fund, for example South Asia, Caribbean, or China and South-East Asia (CSEA), then please add this as a reference to your donation or let us know at foundation@actuaries.org.uk.

Leverage your employment 

Another way to donate is to give a regular donation on payday. You join a much-valued community of actuaries donating small monthly payments that make a world of difference to the impact we can make together. Pay it forward when you get paid.

Does your employer offer Give As You Earn? Or giving through Charities Trust? Both provide easy, tax-efficient ways to give through payroll.

You can also make a one-off donation or establish a recurring payment with JustGiving or PayPal, or set up a standing order (PDF, 47 KB).

Accept a challenge!

Actuaries are good at lots of things. Are you athletic, creative, adventurous, or curious? There’s a challenge for you and we’d love to support you to complete it to raise money in the spirit of ‘actuaries supporting others’.

Whether it’s a half-marathon, baking mission, knitathon, or record-breaking office conga line (anyone?), we can help you make it happen and celebrate it across our social channels. And we’ll thank you and your colleagues profusely for your efforts.

Newly qualified, new job, or promotion? It’s the ideal time to ‘give back’ and help those who are starting their journeys to qualification and need help to get there.
