The role of the IFoA’s Regulatory Appointments Committee (RAC) is to make independent appointments to support the delivery of the IFoA’s regulatory function. This includes:

There are 8 members of the committee: 4 members of the IFoA, 3 lay members, and an independent lay chair.

Members currently sitting on the IFoA Council are prohibited from sitting on the RAC. Committee members should also not hold any appointments under the Disciplinary and Capacity for Membership Schemes or on the Regulatory Board.
