Listening to our members, and focusing on what they told us was important to them, has been central to our work over the last year. The pandemic sped up much of what we already had planned, such as the digitisation of our exams and events offering. But we also went beyond that. In this year’s annual report you can read about our new strategy and VSMD agenda, the development of our propositions, our new learning change programme, the work the actuarial profession has done to support the fight against the pandemic – and much more. But at the core of all our work is our commitment to listening to our members and keeping them at the heart of everything that we do.
2020 was an unprecedented year. Above all, we want to express our thanks to our members, volunteers, employees and colleagues for the effort and energy they dedicated to the IFoA, and one another, during such an historic moment in all our lives.
